The folks at Hero Sports have released their pre-season rankings for FCS football this fall, placing five Big Sky teams in the poll. Sac State checked in at number four behind three Missouri Valley teams–North Dakota State, South Dakota State and Northern Iowa. Weber State was tabbed sxith, Montana seventh, Montana State ninth and Eastern Washington 18th. The four teams ranked in the top ten were all playoff squads from the Big Sky last season.
