An Evans police officer will not face charges in a woman's 2012 death. Ashley Fallis died after a New Year's Eve Party at her home in Evans. Her death was ruled a suicide, but her family believed her husband, then-Deputy Tom Fallis, was responsible. They claimed the investigating officer Michael Yates sabotaged the evidence, deliberately omitting key witness statements. Loveland police took over the investigation into Yates. But in a news released issued Thursday, Loveland officers say they found no evidence to support criminal charges.
