Gov. Rick Perry declined shaking hands with the President, the President caved to pressure and will meet with the Governor now.  A list of ten schools, the schools with the most discipline issues.  Chicago, the gun free city, had 82 people shot and 14 killed over the July 4th weekend.  Self-serve beer at the All-Star game sounds like a good idea to Tom.

World Cup game last night is kind of like the Super Bowl with the Broncos.  Man who fell asleep at Yankee’s game is suing ESPN for making fun of him.  Bob Beauprez is getting feedback from business executives to learn what needs to happen in Colorado to help get the economy growing.  Giving a veteran an upgraded plan ticket is great but looking for pats on the back is tacky.

President Obama and the Clinton’s don’t get along and rumors say Obama may be endorsing Sen. Elizabeth Warren as his successor.  GMO labeling could be on the ballot but it’s more of a suggestion.  An email question came to Tom and Devon and wanted our thoughts on adoption fees for animals at the Humane Society.  Healthcare targeting through your credit card purchases could be next.

Illegal children coming into the country keep coming and the diseases are now infecting Americans.  The President is going to be in Colorado today and tomorrow but Democrats don’t seem eager to be seen with him.  Healthy U this week is about west nile and Paul Poduska joins to talk about what West Nile and how to avoid it.  Millennials don’t bathe as often as they should.

Senator Udall’s opinion piece in the Denver Post seems to think it’s ok for the federal government to force you to purchase healthcare.  ICE will no longer be using the word “alien” to describe the illegal children coming into the US.  A veteran has been displaying his flag in a flower pot and the HOA has levied fines, Lear Capital executives have paid his fine.  Weld Humane Society joins us a brings a beautiful gray kitten.

Special session is still being worked on but every day it looks like a slimmer possibility.  Jillian Melchoir from IWF talks with us about Vermont’s healthcare website has been hacked by Romanian IP addresses.  1in 25 individuals admit to driving while sleepy.  HHS says it is allowing tours of facilities holding illegal children but they are scheduled tours only.

Riot Fest may or may not happen this year, May Farms is private property but residence feel they should have a say.  Beer of the week this week is Independence Pass Ale from Aspen Brewery Co., cans can be purchased at Westlake Wine and Spirits.  Target has asked that you don’t bring guns into their stores but Shooters Grill in Rifle, CO incourages guns.  Do you by a flag made in China?
