Devon wants to be an ostrich and hide her head in the sand, Democrats in Colorado are an embarrassment.  President is going to give back 5% of his salary as a part of sequester, how about he give up lavish vacations and golf.  Welfare recipients should have to take the jobs that immigrants are being brought into American for on work visas.  Rutgers coach was fired yesterday but who else needs to be fired and what needs to happen going forward.  Consumers are showing a higher trend is buying “socially responsible” items.

Changes to some airlines include Samoa Air will now charge by the kilo of its passengers and Delta is shrinking it’s bathrooms to add 4 more seats.  Tidbits is all about baseball pitchers this week including a female who struck out Babe Ruth.  UPDATE: Rutger’s basketball coach fired for physical and abusive behavior to players, he was fired this morning.  Associated Press is no longer going to use the term “illegal immigrant” to describe a person, only an action.  Denver Board of Ethics should review the President’s visit being held at the Denver Police Academy, it is a political activity.

Tom made fun of my rain jacket yesterday and then others followed his lead yesterday.  Today may have a new format with Devon as the host, maybe Tom will join when he’s less busy.  The Rutgers basketball coach was videoed physically and verbally abusing his team and he still has his job.  Ft. Collins City Council elections were yesterday, don’t expect any significant changes with the new members.  58% think the federal government encourages illegal immigration.

Living in the state of Colorado has become an embarrassment for some of us, the Governor being heckled at an oil and gas debate made national news.  James Cunningham and his Cooking Channel show Eat Street is going into season 4.  Devon got Tom with an April Fool’s joke yesterday.  On twitter Rep. Diana Degette said that after a magazine is empty it isn’t shot again, State Senator Lundberg explains that it is reloadable.  A witty email from a listener talks about who should serve on what state commissioners.

Gun legislation continues to affect Colorado negatively, Hi-Viz will more from Ft. Collins and a shooting competition in Montrose has been canceled.  Healthy U this week we talk with Erica Dickson about oncology research and the new cancer center being built in Ft. Collins.  7 worthless things we spend our money on.

Tom says Devon is dressed like the fish sticks man in a rain slicker.  Governor Hickenlooper debates Boulder Commissioner about oil and gas and it’s Hickenlooper that gets heckled.  114 year old woman dies just before her birthday, Tom focuses on the wars she lived through and Devon talked about the fashions.  Death penalty will be sought for James Holmes.

Vacations for the Obama’s aren’t covered in the liberal media outlets.  “Fixing America” is a documentary from former RI Mayor Steve Laffey and he traveled the US to learn that everyone knows we need to fix the finances of this country.  Hunting boycott in Colorado and Tom, as a hunter, tries to decide how he’ll participate in the boycott.

New show from 4-6 on KFKA, we are keeping it live and local.  A great interview with Julie Gunlock from IWF about the White House Easter Egg Roll and how feeding our children should be our decision not something from Michelle Obama to take credit for.  Could you give up Facebook?  A 22 year old wrote about how she did it.  Tom defends why he has so many FB friends.

It’s April Fool’s Day and no jokes in the studio so far.  Tom is no longer #1 in the KFKA NCAA basketball brackets.  Magpul has a list of states that are contacting them to move to their state, Alaska is the latest to join the list.  Today is the opening day for baseball and Tom is excited but can’t find his Yankees cap.  18% tax increase for health care in Colorado.
