The House Judiciary Committee is discussing how to keep and store all text messages and emails American’s send for future use in criminal cases. Tom wants to use a taser gun on Devon. |

Bristol’s Beehive beer is the beer Westlake Wine & Spirits chose this week and Tom and Devon equally loved it. NCAA brackets, Tom is already losing and Devon now knows more than she ever wanted to about college basketball. The legislature is now discussing cats and dogs and which should be recognized as the state pet. Lenwood Brooks from Public Notice talks with us about the sequester and the cuts that will be implemented and the budget that is rumored to have been passed. Tom just read on Twitter that a brown present from some animal was left on the capital floor near the east entrance yesterday.

Congressman Jared Polis is working on federal regulations that seems to be focusing on talking points just to satisfy the environmentalists, Kathleen from the Western Energy Alliance explains why this is a ridiculous piece of legislation. Loveland’s oil drilling regulations are also discussed. |

Amendment 64 is now being discussed in the Joint Committee for Amendment 64 with 10 legislatures and State Rep. Brian DelGrosso is one of the members, he calls to talk about some of the details being considered. Tom’s competitive attitude has us picking one NCAA bracket each and we’ll see who wins, Tom’s pick is Syracuse and Devon’s is Gonzaga (based on mascot picks). Weld Commissioner Sean Conway joins us to discuss budget and County Rd. 49. |

NCAA brackets are on our minds and Tom feels old with a birthday coming up. Tom lost his bet with Devon, the Governor signed HB 1224 yesterday, Tom was hoping the Governor wouldn’t sign because of the language in the bill. Taxes on tobacco products are driving people to purchase on the black market and this is probably going to be the same with marijuana. |
