Cleaner air is goal of Atmos Energy’s natural gas pipeline replacement project in Evans

Cleaner air is the goal of Atmos Energy’s natural gas pipeline replacement project in Evans. greeleytribune.com reports, crews began laying down new flexible plastic pipes Monday in an effort to reduce methane emissions by 2035, according to an Atmos news release. The project is expected to last four to six weeks and impact about 22 Atmos customers. Tags will be placed at residents’ home before work begins, and construction signs will be put up throughout the impacted neighborhoods.
