Judge rejects red flaw protection order filed by Larimer County mother

(Larimer County, CO) — An extreme risk protection order filed by a Larimer County mother is being denied. Susan Holmes had filed the request under Colorado’s red flag law against a CSU officer who shot and killed her son in 2017. Holmes claimed the officer had a history of violence and should be stripped of his guns. The judge rejected the order yesterday, saying her standing in the case wasn’t proven, as reported by our content sponsors at KFKA-Metro.
