Larimer County officials layout a second draft of proposed regulations on oil and gas facilities. Public hearings to take comments on the rules are set. Officials say the proposed regulations would supplement rules set by the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and other state agencies. Larimer County currently does not regulate oil and gas operations. Proposed minimum setbacks are…1,000 feet from a residential building or platted residential lot….and 2,000 feet from high-occupancy buildings, such as schools, registered day cares and nursing homes.
