Extraction Oil & Gas is suing one of its contractors for negligence in a 2017 explosion at a Windsor well site. The Denver-based energy firm is alleging that Colter Energy Services failed to provide proper safeguards resulting in the Dec. 22 fire at a drilling facility in Weld County that sent one person to the hospital.
