Human remains found east of Greeley in 2000 are still unidentified. greeleytribune.com reports, the completely decomposed and skeletonized remains were found near the Greeley-Weld County Airport among tall weeds on 8th Street and Colo. 263, by the old Humane Society building. Investigators believe the man died 1-2 years before his remains were found 20 years ago, and that he had been submerged in water for a significant period of time. The man is listed as a homicide victim and his case remains open.
