A Larimer County Jailer has been charged with assaulting an inmate. According to a press release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, jail deputy Ricardo Gurrola was issued a summons alleging third-degree assault on Feb. 21, after he allegedly pushed a woman and she fell, the release said. The woman suffered minor injuries as a result, Sheriff’s Office spokesman David Moore told the Reporter-Herald. Gurrola was placed on paid administrative leave pending an ongoing investigation.
