Larimer County’s Planning Commission held a public hearing on the county’s first-ever draft land use regulations for the oil and gas industry on Wednesday. Representatives of the oil and gas industry were the first to speak when the public comment period opened. However, the majority of community members slammed the regulations as biased in favor of the oil and gas industry, with some residents criticizing the lack of around-the-clock air quality monitoring and setbacks.
