A man who barricaded himself in a west Loveland motel room after a chase involving Loveland Police Department officers and the involvement of the Larimer County Sheriff’s SWAT Team is now in custody. The prusuit lasted four hours that began in the parking lot of the La Quinta Inn & Suites, on Cascade Avenue when a Loveland officer responded to a suspicious activity call.During the chase, the suspect dropped two bags, one of which contained an air rifle and air pistol, both of which were manufactured to look like authentic firearms. Lots of officers andK-9 units responded to the vicinity, and finally captured the suspect at the Jade Inn Motel at 3300 W. Eisenhower Blvd
