The name of a 30-year-old man killed in a police involved shooting in north Greeley Wednesday morning has been released. KFKA’s Troy Coverdale reports, police identified the man as Ramiro Carrasco, and say an officer saw a weapon while investigating reports of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Island Grove Village Apartments, on 14th Ave., and opened fire, strking Carrasco, according to a news release. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died. The case remains active and the investigation is ongoing the release stated.
