A police involved shooting at a Weld County motel ended with the arrest of a wanted man. A deputy with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office spotted a reported stolen vehicle near the Econolodge, on W I-25 Thursday (February 13) and when the officer made contact with the suspect in a hotel room, shots were fired, injuring the wanted man. The suspect was taken into custody on a felony warrant. This is an active investigation.
