Greeley woman facing attempted murder charges in drug fueled attack

A 29-year-old Greeley woman is facing attempted murder charges in connection to a drug fueld attack. greeleytribune.com reports, police responded to a report of a stabbing at a motor home on 5th Avenue, and found a man who was repeatedly stabbed in the neck and ribs. Witnesses said 29-year-old Alexandra Silva-Volpe showed up at the victim’s home with some friends who had been smoking meth, before Silva-Volpe attacked him for no reason. The victim was taken to North Colorado Medical Center. A May 11 court date has been set for Silva-Volpe in Weld District Court.
