Adjusted data drops number of COVID-19 deaths in Weld County

CDPHE’s move to change how the numbers of deaths tied to coronavirus statewide has brought Weld County’s number of those who died from the virus, specifically, to under 90. The shift in reporting changed Weld County’s number from 126 to 89 as the agency now has separate categories for those who died after being diagnosed with coronavirus and those who died from coronavirus. The change in Weld County is similar to those reflected statewide as the separation shows a 30-percent gap between the two categories.
