Investigation continues into fatal police involved shooting in Loveland

The investigation continues into a fatal police involved shooting in Loveland this weekend. According to reporterherald.com, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that police responded to a single-car crash Saturday night on Colorado 402, and the first officer to arrive discovered the victim had a gun. Shots were fired and the man was struck and killed. But Lt. Bob Shaffer told the Denver Post on Sunday that it was not immediately clear who fired during the confrontation.
