Report calls Ft. Collins, Colo. Springs likely home sales “outperformers” in near future

A new report lists two Colorado cities among the top ten housing markets expected to outperform other major U.S. cities over the next three-to-five years. Jessica Lautz with the National Association of Realtors housing performance in Fort Collins and Colorado Springs is getting a boost from Denver’s saturated market. The forecast was based on job growth in a city, as well as the cost of housing compared to other markets. The increased demand will likely make home prices in Fort Collins and Colorado Springs go up unless more homes can be built.
