The annual 10-day Holiday Parties DUI enforcement period is in full swing

The annual 10-day Holiday Parties DUI enforcement period is in full swing. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Colorado State Patrol (CSP), as well as local and state law enforcement agencies joined with Mothers Against Drunk Driving at the State Capitol to light up the “DUI Tree,” and for every 10 DUIs reported during the enforcement period, a white bulb will be replaced on the tree with a red or blue bulb to represent police lights. The Heat Is On effort will continue through Dec. 16, according to a news release.
