McCaffrey Welcomes Seven Members to Staff

The new coaching staff brings plenty of NFL and college experience with them, alongside great ties throughout the Centennial State.

Joining the Northern Colorado staff will be Dave Baldwin (Offensive Coordinator), Scott Darnell (Defensive Coordinator), Tony Coaxum (Special Teams Coordinator/Defensive Backs), Daryl Moe (Assistant Coach), and Max McCaffrey (Wide Receivers). Two coaches from the previous staff have been retained in Brandon Maguire (Running Backs/Recruiting Coordinator) and Michael Armour (Tight Ends).

“Bringing championship football back to the University of Northern Colorado starts with the people. I am blessed and beyond excited about the men I have assembled on our coaching staff. They bring the experience we need to propel our program to the next level. Our coaches have won Super Bowls, college bowl games and played at all levels. Most importantly our coaches have followed their hearts to UNC because they care about mentoring the young men in our program to be exceptional in every aspect of their lives. We are building a family for the program, university and community, said Head Coach Ed McCaffrey.
