LUBBOCK, Texas –The Bears had a full day of baseball Sunday to cap off their weekend series with a double-header against Houston Baptist and #3 Texas Tech. The morning matchup with Houston Baptist was a 12-5 win for the Bears, while the second game of the double-header ended in a loss to Texas Tech 14-3.

UNC only needed the first two at-bats to take a 2-0 lead thanks to Jake Gitter hitting a homer to right center and bringing home Hayden Heinze, who had singled at the top of the order for the Bears.
