Bears Bury Lumberjacks in Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – A 17-0 explosion by UNC at the beginning of the second half against Northern Arizona was all the Bears needed to separate themselves from the Lumberjacks in an 84-54 win Thursday night. It is UNC’s first-ever 30-plus point road win in the Big Sky Conference.

Northern Colorado improves to 16-8 on the season and 9-4 in the Big Sky.

The Bears held an 11-point lead at the break and then the three-ball started to rain down inside the Walkup Skydome. UNC made seven threes in the first six minutes of the second half to run away from the Lumberjacks.
