Bears Face Road Test Against Thunderbirds

Northern Colorado women’s basketball looks to keep momentum going, starting off with a road game this Thursday.

Northern Colorado put on an offensive show against Sacramento State this past Saturday, scoring a season-high, 90 points. UNC led the entire game and shot a season-high 56.7 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three-point range. The Bears had four players score in double digits in the game. The Bears dominated the paint, outscoring the Hornets, 48-22. UNC built a 41-28 rebounding advantage. Ali Meyer led UNC with nine rebounds and scored six points.

Jasmine Gayles set a career high against the Hornets with 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting, including 5-of-5 from three-point range. It was Gayles first 20-point game of her career.
