UNC’s Green Earns NABC 30 Under 30 Honor

UNC men’s basketball assistant coach Dorian Green earned the distinguished honor of being named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 30-Under-30 team on Tuesday.

Green was named as one of the 30 most outstanding men’s college basketball coaches under the age of 30.</p>

“Our entire Bears family is really proud of Coach Green on this very deserving accomplishment. He is a rising star in the coaching profession, and is improving his craft every day,” head coach Steve Smiley said. “Coach Green is driven to become a total package coach, and his impact to our program with player development, recruiting, scouting, on the court coaching and so much more is evident. He is a huge piece of our continued success and all of Bears Nation is thrilled that he is being recognized with this prestigious award.”

Green joined the staff at Northern Colorado in May of 2019 and helped UNC to one of its best seasons in program history in 2019-20.
