Agencies ban together to battle severe wildfires in Colorado

More than two-dozen agencies are joining forces to battle the growing number of severe wildfires in Colorado. The Rocky Mountain Restoration Initiative includes about 30 local, state and federal organizations working to help find ways to keep wildfires from negatively impacting local economies, water supplies and wildlife habitats. The joint effort is expected to last more than ten years and will focus on forests in southwestern Colorado, our content partners at KFKA-Metro reports.
