OSHA fines company after deadly trench collapse in Greeley

OSHA has cited a Commerce City company following a deadly trench collapse last summer in Greeley. Goldstar Excavation was fined more than $15,000s for the trench collapse on the 1900 block of East 16th Street in Greeley last August that left one worker dead and another hurt, Denver News 9 reported.. Investigators said a portion of the wall in the 6 ft. deep trench had collapsed, trapping the worker inside, killing him. Records show Goldstar did not contest the fine.
