National Girls & Women in Sports Day set for February 4

UNC Athletics and the Colorado Women’s Sports Fund Association are set to host the annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Saturday, Feb. 4. In conjunction with the Women’s Basketball game vs. Montana State, the Bears are hosting a free multi-sport clinic for girls ages 5-13 at the UNC Campus Recreation Center.

The clinic is free and open to the public and will begin with registration at 11:30 a.m., followed by the multi-sport clinic at noon. The clinic features a wide variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, tennis, golf, track and field, lacrosse and more! UNC student-athletes will be instructing, and the first 100 registrants will get the official 2023 National Girls and Women in Sports Day t-shirt.
