Stevens to Return to Colorado State

Isaiah Stevens withdraws from the NBA Draft

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Guard Isaiah Stevens announced on Thursday that has withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft and will return to Colorado State for his final year of eligibility.

Already one of the most decorated players in program history, he will return for his fifth and final season thanks to the NCAA’s waiver granting student-athletes an extra year of eligibility during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Allen, Texas native is a four-time All-Mountain West selection earning first team honors in 2023 by both the media and coaches. He was also a second team All-District selection by the NABC.

As one of the nation’s best point guards, he was a finalist for the Bob Cousey Award in 2022 and on the watchlist in 2023.

Stevens has his name all over the CSU record book as the all-time leader in assists (618), single-game assists leader (13 vs UNM, 3/3/23) and will have his eyes on the scoring record. He is currently second with 1,774 points trailing Pat Durham (1985-89) and his 1,980.

Season ticket renewals for the 2023-24 basketball season are out now. Not a season ticket holder already? Contact the CSU Ticket Office at 1-800-491-RAMS (7267), visit CSURams.com/Tickets or e-mail RamTix@colostate.edu.
